

Passenger Overboard from Holland America MS Amsterdam
A passenger aboard the Holland America MS Amsterdam has gone missing during its transatlantic crossing.

The MS Amsterdam was enroute from Amsterdam, Netherlands to Fort Lauderdale, Florida when it was discovered a woman had gone overboard around 9AM on May 8th.
No further details are currently available, however, it is assumed that authorities from Ireland and nearby ships are assisting in search efforts.
The MS Amsterdam is currently sailing on a 20 night transatlantic itinerary with arrival in Port Everglades on May 16th.
The ship is relatively small, 62,700 gross tons with a guest capacity of 1300.
