Odyssey of the Seas to Home Port in Fort Lauderdale & Rome

Royal Caribbean’s newest Quantum Ultra-class cruise ship, Odyssey of the Seas, will homeport in Rome, Italy for the summer 2020 season the cruise line announced recently.

The ship is scheduled to to take her inaugural debut in November 2020 with 6 and 8 night itineraries sailing from Fort Lauderdale, FL into the Caribbean for winter 2020 / 2021.

The Odyssey of the Seas will then sail to the Mediterranean in May 2021 featuring 7, 9 and 12 night cruises. She will be sailing from Civitavecchia, Rome, Italy’s nearest cruise port.

When sailing the Eastern Mediterranean, she will make calls to Santorini, Mykonos and Athens, Greece; Ephesus and Rhodes, Turkey; Naples, Italy; Heraklion, Crete; and lastly Haifa and Jerusalem, Israel. Included in some ports will be longer stays – up to 15-hours – which will allow guests to enjoy, explore and experience the local culture and fare.
