Norwegian Cruise Line’s Sun made its way back to the ships home port of Port Canaveral, marking the start of its second season of cruising to Havana, Cuba.

The Sun offers four, five and seven day cruises to Havana, Cuba as its primary itinerary. Additional ports of call for the five and seven day cruises include Key West, Nassau and Great Stirrup Cay, NCL’s private island.

The Sun also offers a 3 night cruise from Port Canaveral to the Bahamas, stopping in Nassau and Great Stirrup Cay. It provides the 3 day cruise on the Fridays and returns Mondays – making for a great weekend cruise.

The Sun has made its Cuba debut last year and will be docking in Havana Harbor again this season.

Built in 2001, the Sun underwent a three week bow-to-stern refurbishment in August 2018 while in Victoria, BC. The refurbishment included updated cabins, public spaces and three new venues: Los Lobos Cantina, Bliss Ultra Lounge and the Spinnaker Lounge.
