NCL Sky Emerges from 3-Week Dry-Dock Refurbished
Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) today released images of the recently refurbished Sky. The 2000 passenger ship was in dry dock for a short three weeks in Freeport Bahamas. This was part of NCL’s $400 million refurbishment project across its “Edge” class of ships.

The revitalized ship includes eight new restaurants and bars including a Starbucks, Pinnacle Lounge and Sushi Bar, The Local Bar & Grill, La Cucina, Sugarcane Mojito Bar, a new poolside location called Topsiders, Bliss Ultra Lounge and Spinnaker Lounge.
The existing main dining rooms and fee based restaurants also received fresh updates.

All 1000 cabins have also been upgraded with new TV’s, USB ports, furniture, carpeting, artwork, lighting and balcony decking.
The ship, which is all-inclusive — beverages included — will continue to sail from Miami to the Bahamas and Cuba.
