NCL Halts Popular Open Bar on Sky & Sun
Norwegian Cruise Line announced that their extremely popular open bar program on the NCL Sky and Sun ships would be coming to an end for all sailings on or after September 7th, 2019.
In their press statement, NCL continued to say, “Any guests sailing on Norwegian Sun and Sky after September 7, 2019 who booked a cruise which included Free Open Bar at time of purchase, will still be able to enjoy the unlimited open bar.”
The two ships have been offering the free open bar program since its introduction in 2015 to guests age 21 or older.
Norwegian Sky and Sun recently have been sailing 3 and 4 night itineraries from Florida to the Bahamas and Cuba. However, in recent weeks, the Havana port call has been cancelled due to governmental restrictions.
TheOceanTraveler recently detailed our 3-night cruise on the Norwegian Sky as well, in a three part blog posting where we ventured from Miami to Key West and Great Stirrup Cay.
