NCL Bans Cabin Door Decorations

Earlier in the year, Norwegian stopped creating those cute little towel animals and now its the door decorations!

When TheOceanTraveler contacted guest services, we were informed by the agent that it was done due to “fire protection standards.”

Now– NCL, you’re going to have a BIG wave of complaints coming from all of the crafty crafters out there who spend many days, weeks and months planning, creating and assembling the themed door decorations!

Will Disney, Holland America, Royal Caribbean and Carnival follow this new restriction by Norwegian?

Oh and by the way – NCL now sells special cruise line licensed door decorations in the ship store.

Was this really a safety issue or was it a way to squeeze just a bit more from guests?
