Cozumel is a beautiful little island off the coast of Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula. Cozumel attracts many tourists each day with the arrival of cruise ships and people staying at one of their many beautiful resorts. The locals are very friendly and want to make your visit memorable. There are 2 ports in Cozumel that the ships typically dock. One brings you to a fun shopping, entertainment and dining spot. The other port puts you at their main street area where there is shopping and dining as well.

Cozumel offers an endless amount of attractions, tours and beach’s that it will be difficult to pick just one. In Cozumel you can go on archaeological tours, jungle tours, cultural tours, and ocean tours just to name a few. For many of the excursions you take a 45 minute catamaran ride to the main land and dock in Playa Del Carmen.

Cozumel is an amazing destination for any traveler. Whether, it is for a day or week in Cozumel, the vacation of your dream waiting to be planned. When you are here you can find lots to do or nothing but sit on a beautiful beach. Whatever you do don’t miss Cozumel as a top destination on your bucket list.

Our favorite excursions that we have gone on while in Cozumel were going to Chichen Itza by plane we used flycozumel.com. The feeling you get when you see the Mayan ruins is indescribable. Fly Cozumel made this trip absolutely perfect.

A second excursion that we loved in Cozumel was Rio Secreto. We traveled by catamaran to Playa del Carmen and then took a bus over to Rio Secreto. These are a series of underground caves in which you hike and swim through. It was a spectacular adventure and something you don’t want to miss!
