Carnival Resumes Cruises to Bahamas

The worlds largest cruise company, Carnival Corporation, announced that their cruise lines will begin regular sailings to the Bahamas.

It’s three most popular cruise line brands: Carnival Cruise Line, Holland America and Princess Cruises have set itineraries of over 250 sailings through the end of 2019 to the Bahamas.

Carnival Corporation has dedicated resources to ensure that The Bahamas will continue to receive tourism to support and minimize impact on businesses in the island country.

With 40+ planned ports of call in September to Nassau and private islands including Carnival’s “Half Moon Cay” and Princess’ “Princess Cay” the locations will be ready and welcoming passengers with open arms. An additional 200+ ports of call will be made through the remainder of the year.

Holland America is due to return to the Bahamas in late October with 46 scheduled cruises on 7 ships.

Unlike Grand Bahama Island, Nassau and the private islands had minimal impact from the massive category-5 hurricane.

Carnival Corporation has dedicated $2-million towards relief work to the island nation.
